Local Events for Vasaloppet 2025 Week
We are excitedly looking forward to the upcoming Vasaloppet USA ski races here in Mora, February 8-9, 2025. Here are some of the highlights of what our wonderful Community of Mora is doing to welcome skiers this year.
START/FINISH – due to lack of snow, the race will start and finish at the Nordic Center.
FREE POSTERS – This year’s featured artist for the 2025 collectible poster is Ryan Kroschel, MD. He is not only a local physician at Welia, he is also an avid photographer. Free posters are available in the Vasaloppet store while supplies last.
RACE WEEK EVENTS – Leading up to the ski races, there are many fun events taking place beginning Wednesday February 5th through the weekend.
- BINGO at Kev’s Depot – Wednesday February 5th 6:30 – 9pm
- Vasaloppet Craft Beverage Tasting at the Grand Event Center – Thursday February 6th 5pm – 9pm Featuring local craft beverage producers Tickets $20
- That’s Italian MAYRA pasta feed at Kev’s Depot – Friday 2pm – 7pm
- Community party at the Crystal Bar & Grill featuring local artists The Groove – Friday February 7th 9pm – 11:45pm
- Vasaloppet Art show at Mora Library – Friday February 7th 2pm – 9pm; Saturday February 8th 9am – 4pm; Sunday February 9th 10am – 4pm
- Mason’s Pancake Breakfast – Saturday February 8th 8am – noon; Sunday 8am – noon
- FREE Radio show at Paradise Theater – Saturday February 8th 7pm
