No matter your skill level, from enthusiastic beginners to seasoned elites, there's something enjoyable for everyone. Saturday Ski Races

Freestyle | Skate or Classic Skiing
The freestyle ski races give skiers the choice of skate skiing or classic skiing. Both skiing styles are together in these races.

The Vasa Freestyle 48km

Prize race where the top male and female finishers win $1000 or a trip to Sweden to ski in the Swedish Vasaloppet. Second-place male and female finishers win $500 and third-place male and female finishers win $250. Mass start in downtown Mora with the Dala Freestyle 34 km race. Dala Horse trophies awarded to top three finishers in each age class. The Vasa Freestyle qualifies for both the Mora Classic Series and the Mora Motion Series. 

The Dala Freestyle 34 km

Mass start in downtown Mora with the Vasa Freestyle 48 km race. Dala Horse trophies awarded to the top three finishers in each age class. The Dala Freestyle qualifies for the Mora Motion Series. 

The Bellringer Freestyle 12 km

This freestyle race is for skiers of all capabilities, skate or classic-style skiing. Mass start in downtown Mora along with The Team Freestyle 14 km skiers. Dala Horse trophies awarded to the top three finishers in each age class. The Bellringer Freestyle qualifies for the Mora Motion Series. 

The Team Freestyle 12 km

This freestyle race is for skiers of all capabilities, skate or classic-style skiing. Mass start in downtown Mora along with The Team Freestyle 14 km skiers. Dala Horse trophies awarded to the top three finishers in each age class. The Team Freestyle qualifies for the Mora Motion Series. 

Sunday Ski Races

CLASSIC-only skiing

The Classic 42 km

Prize race where the top male and female finishers win $1000 or a trip to Sweden to ski in the Swedish Vasaloppet. Second-place male and female finishers win $500 and third-place male and female finishers win $250. Mass start in downtown Mora with the Half Classic 21km race. Dala Horse trophies awarded to top three finishers in each age class. The Classic qualifies for both the Mora Classic Series and the Mora Motion Series.

Mass start in downtown Mora with The Classic 42 km race. Dala Horse trophies awarded to top three finishers in each age class. The Half Classic qualifies for both the Mora Classic Series and the Mora Motion Series. 

The Miniloppet Children’s Ski Race

The Miniloppet Children's ski race is for children ages toddler to 13 years old. Parents, grandparents, and all family and friends are welcome to take to the trails for some family fun. The race is held at the Mora Elementary School.
