2019 Vasaloppet Races


 No matter the natural snow conditions, experience the cool new Nordic Center course with manufactured snow conditions and plenty of natural snow will only make it better.

The course is a 17km loop on the Vasaloppet Nordic Center trail system with the start and finish in downtown Mora.  The Nordic Center utilizes snow-making to ensure excellent skiing conditions.

So you can go ahead and register today and ski a cool racing course full of twists and turns and a few more neat uphills.

The Classic:

The Team: 
5-member teams ski together and the  four best times create the team’s overall time. The Team follows the Bell Ringer course.

Special Student Registration Rate:  Ages 16-20 years old. I.D. required at packet pick-up.

Children 13 years old and younger can ski a 1, 5 or 8 km course to cross the finish line in downtown Mora. All skiers receive completion medals. Details

If you love dogs and skiing don’t miss this race, which starts on Mora Lake and finishes in downtown Mora. Details

Fat Tire Bike Race: 38km or 10km
The 38km race starts on Mora Lake and heads North on the Vasaloppet course using both 58km and 35km trails and a downtown finish. The 10km race also starts on Mora Lake, loops north to the Nordic Center and then back to the downtown finish. Details


Moraloppet Ski for the Cause:

The Moraloppet Ski for the Cause is a fundraising event benefiting the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation. There are events for skiers of all capabilities ranging from beginners to elite athletes, plus a time of socializing and refreshments.
