Here are the results from the Last Chance Ski Race, held at the Nordic Center on Saturday March 23rd. Thanks to all who came out to help organize this race and to the 62 who participated.
All of the trails around the Nordic Center have been groomed on Friday and Saturday. The Nordic Center is open from 8 am – 10 pm daily. Bring the family and enjoy the tail end of the skiing season here in Mora.
Clothing bag drop off and pick-up change: Now at Tinker & Larson Dodge one block west of start/finish line.
Friday Packet Pick-up at Headquarters 4pm – 10pm.
Saturday Packet Pick-up at the Celebration Tent 8:30 am – 1:30 pm.

All Vasaloppet races Saturday will be delayed by 1 hour to take advantage of warming temperatures throughout the morning. The Classic will now start at 11am, the Vasa & Dala at 11:15, and the Bell Ringer and the Team will start at 1:30pm. The National Weather Service now calls for temperatures of about -2 at the start of the Classic with a high of 8 at mid afternoon.
Winds are forecast to be mild from the southeast so skiing will be comfortable on the Nordic Center wooded trails.
Before the start, skiers can take advantage of the warm Celebration Tent that is located only one block from the starting line in downtown Mora.
The Classic is 2 laps/42km, the Dala is 2 laps/36km, the Vasa is 3 laps/54km, and the Bell Ringer is 1 lap/13.5 km
